Jean-Pierre Katrib

Managing Director

Jean-Pierre joined Quantum Group in April of 2007 and is currently the Managing Director of Quantum Communications, where he leads the firm’s culture influence, reputation management and policy programs with government, institutions and corporations alike.

He holds an MA in political sociology from the Lebanese University as well as an MA in human rights and democratization from the University of Malta and the National University of Ireland, Galway.

An avid human rights defender since 2001 and a specialist in democratization issues, he was also a visiting Fikra fellow at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy in Washington DC where he published on the critical role of electoral reforms in Lebanon’s troubled political environment.

Jean-Pierre was previously a lecturer at Sagesse University and a trainer with the Office of Regional External Programs at the American University of Beirut instructing on public speaking and media campaign management.

Jasmine El-Gamal

Principal Consultant

Jasmine El-Gamal is a former Pentagon official with over 15 years of experience in the field of national security and cross-cultural communications. Before joining Quantum, Jasmine served as a Middle East policy advisor under four Secretaries of Defense, as well as a Special Assistant for national security affairs to three Under Secretaries of Defense.

A first-generation American of Egyptian heritage, Jasmine has worked throughout her career to incorporate inter-cultural and inter-faith understanding and mutual respect in national security policy.

Jasmine holds an MS from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and a BS in Marketing from Clarkson University. She is currently a Senior Fellow at the Atlantic Council of the US, where she focuses primarily on Middle East policy as well as the role of narratives in the radicalization cycle.

She is also a graduate of the New York Film Academy and a co-producer of the 2017 short-documentary film “Unwelcome,” which was an official selection at over ten international film festivals.

Paul Eid

Finance Director

Paul has 20 years of experience in financial management, including financial operations, fiscal, legal and banking relations.

Paul joined Quantum Communications in 1999. As Finance Director, he oversees various communications, media and content capabilities.

In addition to his financial expertise, Paul contributed to the drafting of different fiscal regulations with the Lebanese Ministry of Finance mainly in the communications sector.

Paul holds an MBA and a BS in Banking and Finance from Notre Dame University in Lebanon.

Paul is currently a financial coach and lecturer at Smart ESA, instructing startups and early stage companies on financial strategies and planning.

Amanda Nimmer

US Business Manager

Amanda Nimmer is a Washington DC-based US Business Manager. Since 2009, she has been involved in all aspects of Quantum’s business with US based clients and partners, supporting team members across several function areas and providing US clients with a local conduit to reach the best creative talent in the MENA region.

Prior to joining Quantum, Amanda worked for a start-up firm based in DC providing strategic communications services to the US Government in the Middle East and Central Asia.

Amanda holds a BS in business administration with a focus on marketing from East Carolina University, studying abroad in Milan and Beirut.

Amanda’s interests include skiing, snowboarding, biking, horseback riding, scuba diving, music festivals, sushi and wine. She is currently learning to row as a recent member of the Capitol Rowing Club.
